Astragalosides is also known as milk vetch root (referring to astragalus species that grow in the United States) and huangqi. The portion of the plant used medicinally is the fourth seven year old dried root collected in the spring and autumn.Astragaloside IV belongs triterpene saponins, mainly by the hydrolysis of Astragaloside IV. Cyclogalactol is the only telomerase activator found today that delays the telomere shortening by increasing telomerase, which is thought to have anti-aging effects.
