Diosmetin, CAS 520-34-3, is the aglycone of the flavonoid glycoside diosmin which occurs naturally in citrus fruits. In citrus, there are already many active ingredients commercially available as bulk raw powders, such as hesperidin, diosmin, hesperitin, synephrine, neohesperidin, naringin, methyl hesperidin, methyl hesperidin chalcone, naringin dihydrochalcone, and citrus bioflavonoid, etc. However, diosmetin may be the least popular one among them.
