What is Polydatin?
Polydatin powder, also known as Piceid, is a glucoside of resveratrol powder in which glucose is transferred to the C-3 hydroxyl group.
Polydatin has two isomeric forms that exist in nature, cis-polydatin, and trans-polydatin.
It is a well-known stilbene compound with healthy biological activity and a terpenoid compound. Previous studies proved it has potential as an active material, mainly focusing on cardiovascular support, anti-oxidation, anti-tumor, liver protection, etc.

Food Sources of Polydatin

Polydatin is Resveratrol?
The answer is NO.
Resveratrol, also known as 3,4′,5-Trihydroxy-Trans-stilbene, is a stilbenoid, a type of natural phenol famous for chemopreventive, antidiabetic, and neuroprotective properties.
